In January, 58 trainings were held for about 600 entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business

In January 2024, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) held 58 trainings for entrepreneurs, those who want to start a business, and startups to acquire business knowledge and increase their existing knowledge. 593 people participated in these trainings.

Last month, 154 consulting services were provided to entrepreneurs and those who want to start a business in various areas of business.

With the support of the agency's SME development centers, 109 business plans were prepared for entrepreneurs, startups and those who want to start a new business in agriculture, food, tourism and other fields.

In 2023, 952 business trainings were organized by KOBIA. Trainings covered business start-up, project management, financial management, sales, marketing, digital skills, "green economy" and other areas needed by SMEs. During this period, consulting services were provided to 1918 entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business regarding access to sales channels, marketing, business planning, accounting, and legal issues. In total, during 2023, 13,818 SMEs, startups and people who want to start a business benefited from the free training and consulting services provided by KOBIA.

Last year, KOBIA provided support for free preparation of 697 business plans in agriculture, production, service and other directions. 424 entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business benefited from the online training videos on the video training platform of the agency free of charge. In 2023, 37 entrepreneurs and managers took a training course in Germany within the framework of the "Germany-Azerbaijani Joint Program on Improving the Qualifications of Managers in the Business Community of Azerbaijan", coordinated by KOBIA, in order to gain international experience.
