IDEA Public Union held a coastal cleanup campaign in Bilgah

On June 11, IDEA Public Union initiated a coastal cleanup campaign on the eve of the sea season at a public beach in Bilgah settlement.

50 IDEA volunteers participated in the campaign, held under the slogan "Keep the coasts clean!". During the campaign, about two tons of waste were collected and delivered to the Balakhani Solid Waste Sorting Plant.

The main goal of the campaign is to promote compliance with the rules of cleanliness in coastal areas among citizens, prevent pollution of coastal areas with household waste, and mobilize the public to protect the Caspian Sea and the environment.

It should be noted that IDEA organizes regular events aimed at cleaning and restoring polluted coastal areas in order to protect the unique biodiversity of the Caspian Sea and other water bodies of the Caucasus region.

On the eve of the start of the sea season, IDEA Public Union calls on citizens to be sensitive to environmental protection while relaxing on the beaches, to keep the coasts clean, to behave responsibly by not throwing waste around, and to take the waste generated with them.
