Holiday gifts were sent to 1250 families in Nakhchivan
On December 24, with the financial support of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, Council of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Trade Unions provided food for 1250 low-income people living in the city of Nakhchivan and the regions of the autonomous republic, including the families of martyrs and veterans, on the occasion of the upcoming December 31 - World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day and the New Year holiday.
Fuad Najafli, authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, as well as Gazanfar Abdullayev, chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, took part in the ceremony.
It was reported that the holiday gifts brought to the families of low-income people, including martyrs and veterans living in the city of Nakhchivan and the regions of the autonomous republic, consist of various necessary food products.
In the end, 5 trucks containing gifts were sent to the designated addresses.
It should be noted that during the last 6 months of 2023, with the financial support of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic gifts were distributed to about 8000 low-income people, including the families of martyrs and veterans.
With the attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, continuous social projects are implemented in our country. Regular delivery of gifts to low-income families, martyrs and veterans on significant days and holidays is also an integral part of such social projects.
