"Global Media Group" implements the "Geridönüş-Təmiz dünya" environmental initiative

"Global Media Group" continues its environmental initiatives within the framework of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
This time the company has joined the "Hand over batteries, protect nature" project of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources based on the previously implemented "Geridönüş-Təmiz dünya" ("Return - Clean World") initiative.
Within the framework of the project, disposable batteries and printer cartridges used in the companies included in the "Global Media Group" were voluntarily collected and handed over in the appropriate manner. This initiative serves to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, promote recycling processes and increase environmental responsibility.
It should be noted that environmental protection and environmental education are one of the main priority areas of the corporate social responsibility policy for "Global Media Group" and its companies. In this direction, various projects aimed at proper waste management, formation of responsible environmental behavior and the promotion of sustainable development principles are being implemented consistently.
Laura Seyidbayova, Head of Marketing and Public Relations Department of "Global Media Group", said that environmental protection and environmental responsibility are an integral part of the company's corporate values, and the initiatives implemented in this direction serve the principles of sustainable development.
Mehman Nabiyev, Sector Head of the Environmental Policy Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, noted that participation of public and corporate structures in such projects makes a significant contribution to expanding the scope of environmental education, as well as the formation of sustainable behavior models.
At the same time, it was emphasized that "Global Media Group" has successfully implemented a number of environmental projects with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources so far, and it is important to continue the productive cooperation formed in this area in the future.
It should be noted that "Global Media Group", one of the largest media groups in Azerbaijan, has been operating since 2017. "Global Media Group" includes television channels, information agencies, news portals, newspapers and other companies operating in Azerbaijan and abroad.
