“Bank of Baku” considers increasing financial literacy among all age groups of society to be one of the main parts of its corporate social responsibility activities and continues its steps in this direction.
For this purpose, on March 4, “Bank of Baku” organized an educational event for the children of its employees.
The event, which covered children aged 11-15 and was held under the slogan “Financial literacy is important at any age!”, was organized in two parts:
In the first part, the children were trained by Guler Mirzayeva, an employee of the bank’s Payment Systems Department. During the training, the children were provided with detailed information on important topics such as the history of the creation of money, banknotes, budget planning, digital solutions available for budget management, as well as types of bank cards, their safe use, and the children’s questions on the topic were answered.
The second part of the event continued in the format of an intellectual competition. In this part, children not only competed in teams, but also gained important information thanks to the questions asked and the answers given to them.
It should be noted that “Bank of Baku” regularly informs its customers about financial security and fraud through social media channels, Dostbank application, as well as through organized events. The Bank has previously implemented similar projects for both schoolchildren and representatives of the older generation under the slogan "Financial literacy is important at any age!".
