Expressbank held an environmental campaign

Expressbank continues to hold a series of environmental campaigns within the framework of the corporate social responsibility project "Caring for Nature – Legacy for the Future".

Thus, the Bank, together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, carried out a large-scale clean-up campaign on Bilgah coast of Baku on the occasion of Caspian Day.

As part of the campaign, the coastal strip was cleaned of waste and attention was drawn to the ecological state of the Caspian Sea.

Pollution of the coastal strip with household waste during the beach season causes a serious threat to health of the ecosystem and, creating an unsanitary situation, leads to the spread of various viruses. Therefore, such clean-up campaigns serve both environmental protection and environmental education of the public.

It should be noted that Expressbank’s corporate social responsibility strategy pays special attention to environmental protection. The Bank’s activities in this direction are reflected in projects implemented both independently and under the organization of ABA.
