Expressbank has partnered with another environmental project

The next event was held within the framework of the environmental project "Exchange waste for gifts" ("Tullantıları hədiyyələrə dəyiş") organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in partnership with Expressbank.

The event took place in "Azersu Park" located in Yasamal district of the capital. During the action, a total of 6968 kg of plastic bottles, 1038 kg of glass waste and 1776 used batteries were accepted from citizens for proper disposal in order to contribute to environmental protection.

The main goal of the project is to raise environmental awareness among the population, promote proper waste management and form recycling habits. Participants of the event also received various gifts in exchange for handing over waste.

Expressbank stated that as a financial institution, supporting environmental initiatives is one of the main directions of their corporate social responsibility strategy and these activities are based on the principles of sustainable banking. In addition to actively participating in projects aimed at environmental protection, the bank also attaches special importance to the continuous promotion of these habits in society.

It should be noted that Expressbank aims to contribute to environmental protection and increase environmental responsibility in society through the events it regularly organizes within the framework of the "Təbiətə qayğı - Gələcəyə miras" environmental project. The bank plans to continue its initiatives in this direction in the future.
