"Clean Dashkasan" project has been successfully completed
"Clean Dashkasan" ecological project was successfully implemented with the support of "AzerGold" CJSC, "Dashkasan Demir Filiz" LLC and "Regional Development" Public Union (RIIB).
Employees of "AzerGold" CJSC, "Dashkasan Demir Filiz" LLC and RIIB volunteers took part in the next action within the project organized with the slogan "Let's be united for the sake of a green world!".
Participants of the action cleared an area of about 3 hectares from plastic, polyethylene, metal, glass, paper, cardboard and other waste in the part of the Zaylik river passing through the village of Gushchu, Dashkasan region. Collected waste was sorted and directed to recycling.
It should be noted that the project carried out within the framework of the corporate social responsibility activities of "AzerGold" CJSC included cleaning actions organized in summer and autumn months of the current year on the banks of Zaylik and Goshgarchay rivers, as well as in various villages. In total, about 10 hectares of land were cleared of waste, bird nests were hung on trees, waste containers and trash cans were placed in the central streets of Dashkasan.
It should be noted that the main goal of the "Clean Dashkasan" project is to promote the observance of cleanliness, prevent pollution of areas with household waste, and involve the public in the struggle in the field of environmental protection. For this purpose, organization of such actions in different areas of the region will be continued.
