BEU students won the “RoboCode III” competition

Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) successfully participated in the “RoboCode III” camp and were among the winners.
It was reported that within the framework of the camp, which was jointly organized by the “Innovation Center” of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “Bilişim Vadisi” and “SAHA Robotics” companies, and sponsored by “Expressbank”, participating teams developed various innovative prototypes. The projects of 5 teams that qualified for the final stage were evaluated by the jury.
According to the results of the competition, the solution implemented by the team consisting of students of the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies of BEU Shahnabat Rustamova, Rahman Javziyev and students of the Faculty of Engineering Ulvu Mahmudov, Nazrin Hamidova was awarded the third place.
The main goal of the camp is to develop knowledge and skills of young people in the field of robotics, automation and autonomous systems, and to facilitate their access to the “ROS” (Robot Operating System) ecosystem. In addition, supporting participants in working on innovative projects and expanding career opportunities in this field are also among the priorities within the program.
