Bank of Baku held another environmental cleanup campaign on Bilgah coastline

Bank of Baku continues its social responsibility projects aimed at environmental protection and ecological balance. The Bank implemented its next environmental initiative in this direction on July 1 on Bilgah coast of the Caspian Sea.
As part of the campaign organized with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Bank of Baku employees, together with eco-volunteers, cleaned the coastal area from plastic, glass, polyethylene and other household waste.
The main goal of the project is to prevent pollution of the Caspian Sea and coastal areas, as well as to contribute to the formation of a sense of environmental responsibility and a sensitive attitude towards the environment in society.
Bank of Baku states that green initiatives implemented under the slogan "Banking Close to Nature" are one of the important directions of the bank's corporate social responsibility strategy. Within this framework, various cleaning campaigns have been organized in previous years and a total of about 1 ton of waste has been collected.
The Bank plans to continue projects aimed at environmental protection and promotion of ecological values in the future.
