Another voluntary blood donation campaign from Bank of Baku

Keeping corporate social responsibility at the forefront of its business activities, Bank of Baku has carried out another voluntary blood donation campaign.

The campaign, organized on May 13 within the framework of the bank’s cooperation with the Republic Blood Bank under the Ministry of Health, aimed to support people suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood-related diseases.

Held under the slogan “Blood donation saves lives!”, the campaign saw active participation from Bank of Baku employees as voluntary blood donors. Employees who successfully passed the initial medical examination donated blood under the supervision of doctors.

It should be noted that the collected blood samples will undergo additional necessary testing at the Republic Blood Bank before being used for people in need of blood transfusions.

For information, Bank of Baku has been organizing blood donation campaigns for several years, emphasizing the vital importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraging people to donate blood.
