An unforgettable summer camp was organized for the children of martyrs under the organization of "Zafar" Martyr Families Support Public Union, with the general sponsorship of "Veysaloglu" Group of Companies and the partnership of Karabakh University.
The intellectual summer camp "Voice of Victory" ("Zəfər Sədası") held in the city of Khankendi on June 4-6 was dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty". The main goal of the project, in which 27 children of martyrs who graduated from high school this year participated, was to familiarize them with higher education opportunities, career-oriented development and strengthening their spiritual ties with Karabakh.
On the first day of the camp - June 4, the participants visited the city of Shusha, the pearl of Karabakh. The young people who visited historical monuments such as the Chidir Plain, Shusha Castle, and Yukhari Govhar Aga Mosque were given extensive information about the rich cultural heritage and history of struggle of Azerbaijan.
On June 5, the participants visited Karabakh University and met with the rector Shahin Bayramov. The rector expressed his pride in welcoming the children of martyrs to the university, emphasizing that life and education were restored in these lands precisely at the cost of the lives and blood of the martyrs. Then, a presentation was made about the faculties, specialties and admission process of the university, and questions of the applicants were answered in detail.
The chairman of the "Zafar" Public Union, Sevinj Orujova, emphasized that this visit was not only promotional in nature, but also of great importance in terms of strengthening the spiritual ties of young people with Karabakh.
On the same day, an intellectual competition was organized by "Khazar" Intellectual Youth Club between the children of martyrs and students of Karabakh University. At the end of the competition, which was held in the spirit of friendship, the winners were presented with gifts by the Veysaloglu Group of Companies. At the end of the event, Sanubar Nazarova, Director of Corporate Communications of the "Veysaloglu" Group of Companies, made a speech and congratulated the camp participants and said that the Group of Companies, as an active participant in social and youth policy, closely supports various education and development projects.
In addition, on June 6, infotours were organized for the participants to the sales points of "Araz" and "OBA" business networks of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies in Khankendi. During these tours, the young people got acquainted with the management model, business principles, career opportunities and innovative approaches of the trade networks.
It should be noted that at the end of the camp program, a musical concert program presented by students of the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University provided pleasant moments for the event participants.
