A voluntary blood donation campaign was held by “Azeristiliktechizat” OJSC
A voluntary blood donation drive was held at "Azeristiliktechizat" OJSC, organized by the Ministry of Health's Republican Blood Bank, to support the provision of blood for individuals suffering from hereditary blood disorders, particularly thalassemia.
Employees of the company actively participated in this humanitarian initiative, with a total of 35 staff members volunteering to donate blood.
Prior to the donation process, the medical team from the Republican Blood Bank assessed the health status of the participating employees and conducted the necessary medical examinations. Blood was collected from individuals who met the relevant medical criteria based on the examination results. The donation process was carried out in compliance with established medical, sanitary-hygienic, and safety requirements.
The primary objective of the campaign was to contribute to increasing blood reserves needed for the treatment of individuals suffering from thalassemia and other hereditary blood disorders, while also promoting the importance of voluntary blood donation within society. Participation of the “Azeristiliktechizat” OJSC team in the humanitarian initiative served as an indication of the Company’s commitment to the principles of social responsibility, solidarity, and public benefit.
