“Bank of Baku” has implemented another project for support of the formation of an inclusive society in our country.
As part of “April – World Autism Awareness Month”, a concert by the “Mavi Ürəklər” (“Blue Hearts”) inclusive music group, consisting of young people with autism and neurodiversity, took place in Ganja city.
IF THERE IS LOVE, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE! – Recognize autism, share love!
The concert program, held under the slogan “If there is love, there is no difference!”, was held on April 25 with the joint organization of “Bank of Baku” and “Birgə ve Sağlam” Public Union, as well as in partnership with “PASHA Mall” and “Ganja Mall”.
The purpose of the event is to inform the society about individuals with autism spectrum disorder and neurodiversity in society, to promote a positive attitude towards them, as well as to instill confidence in the abilities and talents of individuals with autism.
Ahmad Ahmadov, Head of the Advertising and PR Department of "Bank of Baku", who participated in the event, said in his speech that "Bank of Baku" pays special attention to inclusive projects in its CSR strategy and the purpose of holding this concert is to contribute to the process of acceptance of individuals with autism spectrum disorders by society.
Ayten Eynalova, founder of the “Birgə ve Sağlam” Public Union, emphasized the importance of improving the quality of life of individuals living with autism spectrum disorders and their participation as equal members in social life, education and the business world.
Sharif Alakbarli, Manager of “Ganja Mall”, speaking on behalf of “PASHA Mall”, said that it was an honor for them to host such sensitive and important projects. Then, the “Mavi Ürəklər” inclusive music group, consisting of 10 young people, gave pleasant moments to Ganja residents and guests of the city with their colorful repertoire for 1 hour.
It is worth noting that the delegation of “Bank of Baku” and “Birgə ve Sağlam” Public Union also visited the Autism Center located in Ganja before the concert. A painting master class was organized for children studying at the center.
It should be noted that “Bank of Baku” continues its projects aimed at supporting an inclusive society within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. Last year, the bank also held a canvas bag painting master class with young people with autism spectrum disorders and neurodiversity at “Kashalata” cafe.
“Bank of Baku” currently provides various banking services to its more than 1 million customers, both individuals and legal entities, in its 21 branches.
