A Cooperation Memorandum Signed Between UNEC and “Unibank” OJSC
A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and “Unibank” Commercial Bank OJSC.
The signing ceremony was attended by UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, Chairman of the Board of “Unibank” Commercial Bank OJSC, Farid Abushov, as well as representatives from both the university and the bank.
The primary objective of this memorandum is to foster collaboration and establish strategic partnerships in areas of mutual interest between UNEC and “Unibank.” The memorandum outlines cooperation in the development of contemporary educational programs, the joint implementation of innovative initiatives in the fields of education and banking, the integration of education and information technologies into business processes, as well as the organization of joint seminars, training sessions, conferences, and other professional events. Additionally, the agreement envisions the facilitation of internship opportunities for students at the bank and the development of social projects.
During the signing ceremony, Professor Adalat Muradov provided an overview of UNEC, highlighting the latest advancements and strategic objectives of the institution. Expressing satisfaction with the expansion of cooperation with “Unibank,” the rector emphasized the longstanding collaboration between the university and the financial sector, as well as the successful projects implemented in this regard.
Chairman of the Board of “Unibank,” Farid Abushov, discussed the prospects of cooperation with UNEC, underscoring the bank’s commitment to supporting the professional development of young specialists. Furthermore, he conveyed his pride in engaging with his alma mater as a strategic partner.
Following discussions on potential new areas of collaboration, the cooperation memorandum was formally signed by both parties.
