82 project proposals were accepted in the grant competition of "For Azerbaijan" International Charity Organization
The process of receiving projects for the grant competition announced by "For Azerbaijan" International Charity Organization on February 13 has ended. It should be noted that the grant amounts allocated for the competition cover 17,000-42,000 AZN for each project.
The purpose of the competition is to provide effective, sustainable and scalable support to vulnerable groups, families of martyrs and veterans in Azerbaijan. Among other things, it is the creation of professional skills for this population group, and the promotion of the implementation of future-oriented social projects.
82 project proposals were accepted by legal entities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the above directions.
Proposals of the projects cover 30 cities and regions, including the capital, and 3 economic regions. Among the proposals, Employment/ Business/ Career projects (24 projects) serving different beneficiary groups prevail. 15 proposals were psychosocial support projects aimed at families of martyrs and war participants, and 21 proposals were projects aimed at education, including girls' education. Another 22 project proposals cover the topics of accessibility of health services, work with physically disabled groups, film and book production, drug addiction and addiction, youth work and tourism development.
At present, the proposals are being analyzed by the acceptance committee of the competition. The winners of the competition will be presented to the public on April 10 of this year. The projects that won the grant competition will be published on the Organization's portal https://forazerbaijan.org.
