40,000 trees have been planted under the slogan “A green legacy for the future”

A tree-planting campaign was held under the slogan “A green legacy for the future” ("Gələcəyə yaşıl miras”) jointly organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and “Azerlotereya” OJSC.

Since 2023, with the aim of protecting the environment, preserving natural resources, and increasing green areas in the country, a total of 40,000 trees have been planted and new green belts have been established in the liberated Jabrayil region, as well as near the settlements of Mushfigabad and Khocasan.

At the same time, another tree-planting campaign dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was organized near Mushfigabad settlement. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, Chairman of the Board of “Azerlotereya” OJSC Osman Karakush, ministry employees, and company representatives.

The main purpose of the campaign was to support the preservation of ecological balance and to create a healthier and greener environment for future generations. The tree-planting initiatives carried out are of great importance in expanding greening efforts in the country and promoting environmental values.

Within the framework of its social responsibility strategy, “Azerlotereya” OJSC will continue to support environmental initiatives, participate in projects aimed at environmental protection, and contribute to the principles of sustainable development.
