Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan organized financial literacy training for schoolchildren

Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan, which always attaches special importance to corporate social responsibility projects, has once again implemented another educational project aimed at increasing financial literacy among young people.

Within the framework of the Bank's corporate social responsibility strategy, students of grades 9, 10 and 11 of Hadaf Lyceum were invited to the Bank and were visually introduced to the working principles of the departments operating there.

After familiarization with the departments, the students were given detailed information about the concepts of deposits and loans, their calculation mechanisms, types of non-cash payments and security principles, as well as the procedure for operating of POS terminals.

The working principles of mobile banking were also demonstrated and explained to the students. Within the framework of the project, more than 20 students learned the basic principles of financial decision-making by practically observing bank transactions on the spot.

Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC is a member of "Ziraat Financial Group" of the Republic of Turkiye, which has a 161-year history. The Bank operates under license No. 255 dated 30.12.2014 issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
