Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan joins the "Yaşıl ASAN" environmental program

Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan, which always attaches importance to corporate social responsibility projects and environmental initiatives, has joined the “Yaşıl ASAN” (“Green ASAN”) environmental program of ASAN volunteers in order to protect the environment.

This initiative aims to more efficiently manage paper resources used in public services and banking operations and contribute to environmental protection. As part of the cooperation, special recycling bins have been placed at the head office and branches of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan for the collection of paper waste in order to protect the environment, prevent paper waste and promote the recycling process. Collected paper materials are transferred by Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan to “Yaşıl ASAN” environmental program and from there sent to recycling facilities. This project also aims to raise public awareness and, in addition to promoting the “Green Office” culture among citizens, it is aimed at protecting trees, maintaining ecological balance and increasing the sense of environmental responsibility among population.

It should be noted that the Bank has already transferred more than 400 kilograms of paper waste to “Yaşıl ASAN” environmental program for recycling. This cooperation, which reflects the bank's environmental responsibility, is part of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan's sustainable development strategy and is implemented under the slogan "Let's value the environment."
