Yango Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation launched a social project with the slogan "Yol ver, qalib gəl"

Yango Azerbaijan, a part of the global technology company Yango Group, and Azerbaijan Judo Federation have launched the "Yol ver, qalib gəl" ("Give way, and win") initiative. The project is about road etiquette and applies the basic principles of judo to everyday driving.

The main character of the project is Hidayat Heydarov, Olympic and world champion in judo. As part of the collaboration, Yango Azerbaijan has developed a digital project that clearly demonstrates how qualities such as balance, respect for others, and self-control contribute to safe and calm behavior behind the wheel. You can get acquainted with the project on a specially opened website: https://yango.com/az_az/lp/judo/

The idea of the joint initiative is simple: the main rule in judo is to remain calm, feel the space, and react to the situation thoughtfully, not impulsively. The same principles apply on the road - not to respond to aggression, to be attentive, collected, and respectful of other road users.

"The values of judo are not limited to tatami. Our joint project is dedicated to discipline and self-control - these qualities directly increase safety on the roads. It all starts with respect for oneself, the rules and other road users. Thanks to our joint initiative with professional athletes, our goal is to reduce the level of road conflicts, help drivers behave more restrained and confident, and passengers feel more comfortable. We translate the principles of judo into clear and applicable road behavior. For us, this is not just a campaign, but a contribution to the culture of urban mobility and quality of life of Baku and the country as a whole," said Mushvig Hasanov, head of Yango Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the "Yol ver, qalib gəl" digital project, users learn how judo values such as respect, courtesy, courage and self-control help to build harmonious relationships on the road, for example, drivers learn to express gratitude and apology with emergency lights, pass signals politely, give way to special vehicles, as well as to remain calm in conflict situations and, if necessary, contact the "Yango Safety Center". The best driver-partners operating in Baku will receive special stickers that can be attached to their cars to demonstrate their commitment to the main principles of the initiative.

It should be noted that some time ago, Yango Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Judo Federation signed a strategic partnership agreement. The main directions of cooperation are increasing interest in sports, as well as the development of urban mobility and a comfortable environment.
