The “Support for the Social Development of Single Mothers II” project, implemented with the support of “PASHA Holding” and through a joint initiative of the State Employment Agency (DMA), the Shamakhi District Executive Authority (RİH), the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), and the “Social Integration of Boarding School Graduates” Youth Public Union, continues its activities at a social enterprise operating in the village of Goylar.
Selected participants have been enrolled in vocational training programs by the DMA and provided with the equipment necessary for production with the support of “PASHA Holding.” The main purpose of the social enterprise is to prevent single mothers from having to place their children in state-run childcare institutions, improve their social well-being, and create sustainable employment opportunities.
The project also helps strengthen the active participation of single mothers and low-income families in social life, enables women to plan and coordinate their economic and social initiatives, and supports the development of their entrepreneurial activities.
In 2026, under the “Support for the Social Development of Single Mothers I” project, the number of employees at the social sewing enterprise operating in Shamakhi District increased from 10 to 24.
It should be noted that women’s empowerment is an important component of “PASHA Holding’s” Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. In this area, “PASHA Holding” and its subsidiaries implement various projects, including the AFAQ project, “Ana Sahibkar,” and “Women Bazaar.”
