With Azercell's support, StartHer Quba project empowers women's entrepreneurial potential
An initiative supported by Azercell has contributed to the development of women's innovation and entrepreneurship skills in the region.
The StartHer Quba project, aimed at developing the innovation and entrepreneurial potential of young women living in Quba and surrounding regions, expanding their economic opportunities, and encouraging their participation in the startup ecosystem, has successfully concluded. The project was implemented by the Innovative Development Support Public Union with the support of Azercell.
As part of the initiative, 20 women who successfully passed the initial selection stage participated in hands-on training sessions covering innovative entrepreneurship, business model development, and effective pitching techniques. Through the program, participants gained the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop their startup ideas. All participants who successfully completed the training received certificates.
At the conclusion of the program, participants presented their startup ideas to a panel of judges. The projects covered a wide range of sectors, including education, healthcare, tourism, real estate, and agriculture. Based on the judges' evaluations, the top three participants were awarded cash prizes.
The StartHer Quba project is one of the three winning initiatives selected under Azercell's social project competition, "Enriching Lives: Women's Support Program," which aims to promote greater participation of women in social and economic life.
