"Recognize hepatitis, protect your health" seminar was held at Bank of Baku

Bank of Baku, which is distinguished not only for its banking activities but also for its corporate social responsibility projects, has held its next educational seminar.
The seminar organized for Bank of Baku employees under the slogan “Health is the most valuable capital of a person!” was dedicated to World Hepatitis Day. The main goal of the seminar, which emphasized the message “Recognize hepatitis, protect your health”, was to raise awareness about liver health, hepatitis viruses, as well as the prevention and treatment of the disease.
The seminar, conducted by Dr. Arzu Huseynova, a gastroenterologist-hepatologist at Narimanov Medical Center, provided detailed information about the types of hepatitis viruses, their transmission routes, symptoms, preventive measures, the importance of vaccination and modern treatment options.
The doctor said that education, adherence to preventive measures, vaccination and timely diagnosis play a decisive role in the prevention of hepatitis. He added that it is possible to keep liver healthy if hepatitis is detected at an early stage and treated properly. The seminar also discussed the effects of lifestyle on the maintenance of liver health and functioning of this organ. At the end, the participants addressed their questions to the doctor and obtained extensive information.
