The Baku State University (BSU) Career and Alumni Center organized a training entitled “Relations with State Institutions and Corporate Social Responsibility” for students of the Faculty of International Relations and Economics of “PASHA Holding” LLC employee Bayim Ibrahimova.
The trainer said that the concept of “Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR) is a business model that encourages a company to behave responsibly towards itself, its stakeholders, and society and supports sustainable development. Companies that apply the principles of this model are aware of the positive impact they have on all areas of society. As a result, this model is not only limited to complying with legislative requirements, but also includes steps taken for the general public welfare.
Bayim Ibrahimova provided detailed information about CSR models - economic, environmental, ethical and philanthropic responsibility, as well as the main goals of CSR within the company - forming a positive brand image, expanding the customer base, attracting skilled personnel and promoting innovations. She also spoke about the CSR strategy, international practices, cooperation with government agencies and the areas of activity of the department - supporting education, health, environmental protection, social welfare and women's empowerment.
At the end, participants' questions were answered.
