The next “Change Waste for Gifts” festival took place in partnership with the socially responsible citizen PASHA Bank.
The event held on August 23, 2025 aimed to increase public support for proper waste management, promote resource efficiency habits, and emphasize the importance of recycling. During the campaign held within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”, citizens handed over a total of 8985 liters of plastic, 1890 liters of glass waste, and 2620 used batteries, receiving various gifts in return. As part of the festival, entertaining master classes were organized for children, and participants gained practical knowledge about waste sorting.
A total of 28,105 liters of plastic, 4458 liters of glass waste, and 4788 used batteries were collected and sent for recycling and disposal during the events organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources from the beginning of 2025 to the present.
The festival was co-sponsored by PASHA Bank, ECO Hub Public Union and a number of other organizations.
It should be noted that PASHA Bank is at the forefront of sustainable economic development by supporting a number of environmental projects. The bank's projects include energy efficiency, clean transportation, modern irrigation technologies in agriculture, and initiatives aimed at protecting the environment. These activities, in addition to strengthening Azerbaijan's position on the global climate scene, serve to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment for future generations.
