Nar strengthens awareness on children's rights

The final events of the "Hüquqlarınla parla!" ("Shine with your Rights!") project, implemented with the support of the profitable mobile operator Nar, have taken place. The project aims to promote children's rights, increase the legal knowledge of schoolchildren and develop their analytical thinking skills. Schoolchildren from Baku and regions, including children from vulnerable categories, actively participated in the activities organized within the framework of the initiative.
On the first day of the event, case discussions were held with the participation of experts at the office of the "Regional Development" Public Union, participants presented solution strategies for real and simulated situations. After the presentations, voting took place and the best 3 teams were determined by experts based on the criteria of analytical approach, justification of the proposed solution strategies, presentation skills and teamwork. The closing ceremony took place at School-Lyceum No. 6 named after T. Ismayilov. In the continuation of the event, the winning teams selected by experts in the case competition for children from vulnerable categories, as well as those who showed high results in the training, were awarded with gifts and diplomas, and participating schoolchildren were awarded with certificates.
So far, more than 2,000 schoolchildren, including children from vulnerable categories, have been involved in legal awareness activities within the framework of the project. As a result of the project, development of a special mobile application has been launched to make legal awareness more accessible for children.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman), Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Afafirs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Social Services Agency, Center for Public Health and Reforms of the Ministry of Health, Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan and the "Regional Development" Public Union.
It should be noted that Nar has been providing continuous support to the project within the framework of partnership with the "Regional Development" Public Association for 4 years. The mobile operator considers the protection of children's rights, increasing digital literacy and promoting internet safety as one of the priority areas within the framework of its corporate social responsibility strategy. The company demonstrates a systematic and long-term approach to initiatives aimed at combating cyberbullying, protecting personal data and developing children in a safe digital environment. The "Hüquqlarınla parla!" project, as an integral part of this strategy, demonstrates an effective model of public-private partnership.
