“Kontakt” won the “Baku Flames”

"Kontakt", a brand consistently distinguished by its social responsibility initiatives, has won an award at the "Baku Flames" creativity festival. The company's project for schoolchildren in the regions—titled "We Stand by You for Education, #WeAreClose"—was awarded the festival's highest honor, the "Golden Flame" award, by an international jury.

The "Baku Flames" festival, which showcases the most remarkable work in the creative sector, once again brought together local and international participants this year. "Kontakt’s" project stood out for both its concept and its authentic storytelling, earning the festival's top prize: the "Golden Flame". The video entry secured the main award in the "Corporate Social Responsibility" category within the competition's "Film" section.

It is worth noting that through the "We Stand by You for Education, #WeAreClose" project, "Kontakt" established dedicated study rooms in five of its regional stores. To provide equal opportunities for schoolchildren with limited access to technology, these rooms were fully equipped with laptops, printers, desks, chairs, and all other necessary equipment. Narmina Ismayilova, Director of the chain’s Customer Relations and Marketing Department, commented on the project's success and future goals:

“When we launched this project, our primary objective was to create a more accessible and comfortable learning environment for schoolchildren living in the regions. It is truly gratifying to see this idea receive such recognition, and I believe there is still much work to be done in this direction.”

It is worth noting that the “Kontakt” retail chain has been implementing ongoing projects across various regions of Azerbaijan for years as part of its “Education Program”.
