Great joy for young schoolchildren from "Azərşəkər"
"Azərşəkər", the flagship sugar brand of "Azersun Holding" has once again upheld its tradition of social support.
To mark the start of the new academic year, the school-aged children of sugar beet farmers—who play a vital role in supplying raw materials to "Azərşəkər"—and the employees of the Imishli Sugar Plant were delighted with gifts of various school supplies and sweets.
The gifts were presented to children entering the first grade and those in primary education belonging to sugar beet farmers in the city of Imishli and the village of Kabirli (Aghjabadi region), as well as to the children of the plant's employees.
The project's primary goal is not only to bring joy to children embarking on a new school year but also to express appreciation and gratitude to the farmers with whom "Azərşəkər" has collaborated for many years, as well as to the employees of the Imishli Sugar Plant.
For "Azərşəkər," sugar beet is more than just a key raw material for production; it is a vital component of a value chain linked to the hard work of local farmers and regional development. In this context, standing with farmers and their families—and sharing in the joy of their children—represents a key aspect of the brand's approach to social responsibility.
