Expressbank participated in ABA's tree planting campaign

Expressbank, which has consistently taken initiatives for the sake of sustainable development and social well-being, participated in the next mass tree planting campaign.

The campaign took place within the framework of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Tree Planting Activities on the Occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev" between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan,  Azerbaijan Banks Association, Association of Azerbaijan Insurers,  Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, Association of Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants and the Azerbaijan Fintech Association on March 13, 2023, and brought together employees of dozens of financial institutions for a common goal.

The campaign supported the planting of 625 Eldar pine and olive trees with the participation of Expressbank employees.

It should be noted that "Expressbank" regularly participates in tree planting campaigns organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association, and also carries out tree planting campaigns individually with the participation of its employees within the framework of corporate social responsibility. During the autumn tree planting season of 2024, 300 Eldar pine trees were planted by the bank's employees in Sabail district of Baku within the framework of the "Caring for Nature - Legacy for the Future" corporate social responsibility project.

Contributing to the preservation of ecological balance and sustainable banking is one of the strategic goals of "Expressbank".
