Expressbank held an event in Lankaran on the occasion of Knowledge Day

Expressbank once again provided school supplies to children who will start first grade in remote village schools on the eve of Knowledge Day.

Within the framework of the corporate social responsibility project called "Aydın sabahlar", implemented once again at the initiative of the bank, school needs of children who will start first grade in the 2025-2026 academic year in remote village schools of Gunahir, Moloja, Turkancil and Beliton of Lankaran, were met. The event was held at Osakucha village secondary school named after I. Huseynov of Lankaran region with support of Lankaran-Astara Regional Education Department.

Also, the bank, adding another important step to its activities aimed at increasing the financial literacy of different age groups of the population within the framework of corporate social responsibility, organized a practical seminar on the topic of "Wants and Needs" for the said children in order to form their initial financial knowledge. Thus, the children learned about savings and efficient use of the budget by mastering the differences between their wants and needs in a short time.

In addition, Expressbank presented to children a booklet titled "Omar's Introduction to Payment Cards", which was created in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Banks Association, AzFina and VISA, in order to increase the financial literacy of minors. Bank employees introduced the children to the story in a booklet and informed them about the rules for using payment cards.

It should be noted that Expressbank, as a financial institution committed to its social responsibility, constantly carries out consistent measures within the framework of corporate social responsibility. In particular, in order to support education and create hope and a sound foundation for the future of children in remote rural schools, the "Aydın Sabahlar" project has been successfully implemented for two years, and the bank states that it will continue to take consistent measures in this direction.
