Expressbank held a tree planting campaign "For the sake of Victory" in Aghdam

Expressbank, adhering to its social responsibility strategy, dedicated its traditional tree planting campaign to the 5th anniversary of our victory in the 44-Day Patriotic War within the framework of the "Care for Nature - Legacy for the Future" project this year under the slogan "For the sake of Victory!". This campaign, held on the occasion of Victory Day, was organized by Expressbank employees in Sarijaly village of Aghdam with the support of the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend regions.

As part of the campaign, 200 long-lived trees suitable for climatic conditions, such as Japanese maple, Khan plane tree and Eldar pine, were planted in the area. This initiative, in addition to contributing to the restoration of ecological balance and increasing greenery in the liberated lands, was implemented as a symbol of respect for the memory of our martyrs. The project aims to add value to society, the environment and future generations based on the principles of sustainable banking of Expressbank. The bank, through its environmental initiatives implemented within the framework of its social responsibility strategy, constantly supports the country's green future, environmental protection and realization of sustainable development goals.

It should be noted that in 2025, Expressbank emphasized the importance of the fifth anniversary of the Great Victory with a series of events. Thus, the bank joined the "YAŞAT" Charity Marathon with a donation of 50,000 AZN, expressing its concern for expanding the educational opportunities of children of martyrs and shaping their future.
