"Bir" and Khazar University join forces for the professionals of the future

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between "Bir Ecosystem" and Khazar University to support the development of students, prepare them for the labor market, and strengthen university-business cooperation.
Within the framework of the cooperation, internship programs, mentoring support, and professional development training will be implemented for students. Thus, students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have gained at the university in a real work environment, get to know the business world better, and start their future careers more prepared.
At the event, Farid Hidayatzadeh, the official representative of "Bir Ecosystem", emphasized the importance of continuous cooperation between universities and businesses in preparing professionals who meet the needs of the labor market.
"We believe that a good specialist begins to form in the audience, and develops in business life. Therefore, we evaluate cooperation with universities not as an internship program, but as an investment in future professionals. Currently, 48 Khazar University graduates work at "Bir Ecosystem", 14 of whom are in management positions. This statistic is one of the best indicators of the potential formed at the university. I believe that our cooperation will bring more potential young people to the labor market."
Raziya Isayeva, the rector of Khazar University, said that today, real work experience is as important as theoretical knowledge for students. She noted that the cooperation established between the university and business allows young people to get to know the business world better, make future career choices with more confidence, and realize their potential more easily. The rector expressed confidence that cooperation with "Bir Ecosystem" will open up new development and career opportunities for students.
It should be noted that Bir Ecosystem continuously implements projects aimed at the professional development of young people. Currently, the ecosystem cooperates with 14 higher education institutions in this direction, and more than 2,700 students have participated in various internship programs to date. The goal is to enable young people to get to know the real work environment better, gain practical experience, and start their future careers more prepared.
"Bir" is the first fully integrated digital ecosystem in the Caucasus, which fundamentally changes the daily service usage behavior of individual and corporate customers in Azerbaijan. The ecosystem, which began operating in 2025 by integrating the country's leading brands - the "Birbank" digital mobile banking application, the "Birmarket" e-commerce platform, "Milliön" payment terminals, and the "m10" digital wallet, currently serves more than five million customers. Thanks to its extensive infrastructure capabilities, as well as strategic partnerships with "Trendyol Azerbaijan" and "BakiKart", "Bir" is laying the foundation for the first and largest digital ecosystem in Azerbaijan.
