Bank of Baku supports the 1 million tree goal

Bank of Baku continues its green initiatives under the slogan “Təbiətə Yaxın Bankçılıq” (“Banking Close to Nature”).
The bank participated in an action organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) in Mushfigabad settlement on April 24. The action, attended by Bank of Baku executives and employees, planted eldar pine and olive trees in accordance with the soil and climatic conditions of the relevant area.
It should be noted that this action, which has been taking place annually since 2023, aims to donate 1 million trees to nature within 10 years.
The event is held within the framework of a memorandum signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ABA, Azerbaijan Insurers Association, Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association and Azerbaijan Fintech Association on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
It should be noted that Bank of Baku maintains environmental protection as a priority in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and continues to actively participate in projects aimed at restoring the green ecosystem.
Bank of Baku currently provides various banking services to its customers, both individuals and legal entities, in its 21 branches.
