Baku Higher Oil School hosts Career Fair

A Career Fair was held at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) with the participation of major companies and government institutions such as SOCAR, bp, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, BCG, the Central Bank, ABB, Kapital Bank, PAŞA Kapital, AzerGold, Azersun, and others.
In total, about 70 local and international companies and government institutions presented their job vacancies and internship programs at the Fair.
Around 1,500 visitors attended the event, gaining the opportunity to directly obtain information about current job vacancies and employer requirements.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov emphasized the importance of the Career Fair for students and graduates. He noted that the event provides a unique opportunity to directly communicate with companies and government agencies operating in various fields and to obtain detailed information about their job openings and requirements. The Rector expressed confidence that the Fair would be beneficial for both the participating companies and the visitors.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Nihad Mukhtarli, in his speech, wished success to students and graduates and emphasized that “such Career Fairs are of great importance in terms of familiarizing with real labor market requirements, defining necessary skills, and establishing direct contacts with employers.”
Rashad Alakbarov, a representative of the “Human Capital and Inclusion” segment and the Talent Management and Business Partnership Department of SOCAR, spoke about the company's projects aimed at youth development. He emphasized that “the Career Fair is of great importance in terms of the opportunity to recruit highly qualified specialists, identify potential talents at an early stage, and contribute to the development of youth in the labor market.”
