“Aztelekom” expands digital literacy initiative for teachers

Trainings are continuing within the framework of the corporate social responsibility project "Safe internet use skills" organized by "Aztelekom" LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies, and the State Agency for Preschool and General Education (MÜTDA).
The aim of the project is to further strengthen teachers' opportunities for effective and safe use of the Internet, support development of digital literacy, and raise awareness in the field of protection from online threats.
The next trainings within the framework of the project were organized online for more than 100 teachers from schools under the Sheki-Zagatala, Lankaran-Astara, Guba-Khachmaz, and Ganja-Dashkasan regional education departments.
The trainings conducted by "Aztelekom" specialists covered the topics of personal data protection, digital security, rules of conduct on social networks, methods of protection from online risks, and responsible Internet use.
The sessions were conducted in an interactive format based on discussions and practical approaches built around real-life situations.
In the next stages, the project is planned to cover other regions of the country.
It should be noted that the project has so far covered teachers and students from rural schools in Lankaran, Gusar, and Sheki regions. At the same time, online trainings have been organized for teachers from schools under the Ganja-Dashkasan, Lankaran-Astara, Guba-Khachmaz, and Central Aran regional education departments.
