AzerGold: Dashkasan beekeepers were involved in winter training
AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) jointly with Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) organized another training for beekeepers within the "Support to the development of beekeeping in Dashkasan" project.
Farmers operating in Chovdar, Gushchu (including the area called "Shadakh") and Bayan villages of the region participated in the training organized for preparation of beekeeping farms for the winter season in Dashkasan.
Farmers were educated by an expert involved in the project about the rules of caring for bee families in autumn season, protection of bees from diseases in winter season, and pest control measures. Methodical instruction booklets were also distributed to farmers.
Remarkably, that within the framework of corporate social responsibility activities "AzerGold" CJSC has implemented consistent and purposeful measures in the regions where it operates related to environmental protection, employment growth, education, sports, health, development of micro-entrepreneurship, training and education of teenagers and young people, improvement of social welfare, conservation of cultural heritage and other directions. Such projects are developed and implemented taking into account the specific characteristics of the region, needs of local communities, and socio-economic demands.
