“AzerGold” CJSC organized tree-planting actions in Goygol and Dashkasan districts on Victory Day

“AzerGold” Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) held tree-planting campaigns at Dashkasan and Goygol.

In celebration of the 5th anniversary of the historic Victory achieved by the brave Azerbaijani Army over the Armenian armed forces in the 44-day Patriotic War, under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and with the support of the Gizilja–Uchtepe Municipality, approximately 700 linden, willow, and plane tree saplings were planted on an area of about 0.8 hectares designated for the construction of a Victory Park in Uchtepe village. The plants were provided with proper agrotechnical care.

As part of the environmental campaign, an additional 1,300 saplings adapted to local climatic conditions were planted at the “Chovdar” gold mine. Landscaping and greening works were also carried out across the area during the event.

It should be noted that such environmental initiatives by “AzerGold” CJSC are aimed at preserving ecological balance, improving the environment, expanding green spaces, and supporting climate change mitigation efforts in Azerbaijan.

To date, the company has planted thousands of trees and shrubs suited to local climatic conditions. These greening activities will continue a regular basis.
