Azercell-supported Azerbaijan Children Hotline recorded nearly 1,600 inquiries in the 3rd quarter of 2025

The "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service (AUQX), operating with the support of Azercell, received 1,594 inquiries during July-September 2025.

The majority of inquiries were made by adolescents aged 15-18.

512 of the inquiries were related to the need for psychological support, and this direction prevailed, as in the first six months of the year. In addition, 261 social issues, 232 cases of violence, 227 legal aid, 98 education, 14 health and 250 inquiries of various content were registered.

According to statistics, 59% of applicants were women, 29% were men. 12% of applications were addressed to the service anonymously. By age group, the largest number of applications were made by adolescents aged 15-18 - 1,147. 335 of the other requests were made by children aged 11-14, and 112 were made by children under 10.

50% of the applications were made via digital channels (social media, email, website), and the other 50% were made via phone calls.

In order to help children in difficult situations, 34 families were invited to the center and received legal, psychological and psychosocial support. In total, more than 90 socio-psychological rehabilitation cases were carried out, and urgent visits were organized to 3 schools and families. In addition, the AUQX team also held awareness-raising events to inform about the activities of the service.

The "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service continues its activities with the support of "Azercell Telecom" LLC and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, and under the management of the "Ümidli Gələcək" Social Initiatives Public Union.
