Azercell's "Offline Women" project awarded international "Stevie®" award

A social initiative ensuring women in difficult life circumstances access to essential information and support resources has been recognized among Europe’s best CSR programs.

Azercell’s “Offline Women” social initiative, implemented to support women facing difficult life circumstances, has achieved another international success. The project received a Silver Stevie® Award in the “Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Europe” category at the 23rd International Business Awards®.

“Offline Women” is a digital platform that provides women who have experienced violence or are at risk of violence with unhindered access to essential information about their rights, assistance mechanisms, and available support services. By leveraging technology to address a specific social issue, the project makes critical information accessible, particularly to women in vulnerable situations who are in urgent need of support.

The project’s key distinguishing feature is that the website can be accessed regardless of mobile balance. In other words, Azercell subscribers can access the oflaynqadinlar.az platform and benefit from the information and support resources they need even when they do not have an active internet package or sufficient balance.

More than 3,400 entries from 82 countries were submitted to the 2026 edition of the International Business Awards®, one of the world’s leading business awards programs. Organizations representing various sectors were evaluated by more than 300 independent experts from the international business community. Against such strong competition, the Silver Stevie® Award for Europe received by the “Offline Women” project demonstrates the international recognition of Azercell’s social innovation initiative.
