The company continues a series of trainings to strengthen crisis preparedness in the regions
Azercell is expanding the scope of the “Crisis Management Group” project implemented to increase the resilience of the communication infrastructure and strengthen preparedness for crisis situations. As part of the next stage of the project, a special training program was organized for the employees of the North-East Regional Branch of “Aztelekom”.
During the trainings, the participants developed their theoretical and practical knowledge on ensuring the continuity of the communication network in crisis situations, operational decision-making, management of disaster recovery processes, and inter-agency coordination. The program serves to increase the level of preparedness for crisis situations and strengthen the professional skills of regional technical teams.
In the next stages of the project, similar trainings are planned to be held in all regional branches of “Aztelekom” throughout the year. This initiative will contribute to the formation of professional technical resources capable of responding quickly to crisis situations in different regions of the country and the implementation of unified operating standards.
It should be noted that the “Crisis Management Group” project, carried out since 2024 through cooperation between Azercell, Aztelekom, and Azerkosmos under the slogan “Sustainable Communications, Safe Life!”, represents a national cooperation model aimed at ensuring the continuity of telecommunications services. The project envisages the establishment of a unified management mechanism to facilitate the rapid exchange of information, flexible mobilization of resources, and coordinated implementation of emergency recovery efforts in the event of natural disasters, technological accidents, and other crisis situations.
