Members of the Board of Directors and department heads of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers (AQC) visited “Kashalata”, one of the first inclusive cafes operating in the country within the framework of a socially responsible project.
During the event, the delegation got acquainted with the conditions created in the cafe where young people with special developmental characteristics work, and tasted sweets prepared by the young people themselves. The meeting was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, and the guests spent time with the young people, communicating with them.
AQC Chairman Vugar Oruj also emphasized the importance of the project in his speech. He noted that inclusion is an issue that should be the focus of attention of all institutions, not just social organizations. Vugar Oruj said that support for such projects will continue and that AQC is ready to actively participate in socially oriented initiatives.
Ayten Eynalova, Chairman of “Birgə və Sağlam” Public Union, spoke about the importance of forming an inclusive society. She said that “Kashalata” cafe serves not only the employment of young people with disabilities, but also their self-confidence, development of social skills and integration into society.
It should be noted that “Kashalata” cafe, established at the initiative of the “Birgə və Sağlam” PU, aims to create conditions for young people with disabilities to work in an inclusive environment. The cafe, located at 57 Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, provides employment for a total of 20 young people, 10 of whom are young people with disabilities.
