"Azerbaijan Children's Hotline", operating with the support of "Azercell", has registered 2,173 applications

The "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service (AUQX), which operates with the support of "Azercell", received 2,173 applications during January-June 2025.

Among the applications, requests for psychological support (497) predominated. In addition, 392 applications for legal assistance, 378 for social issues, 96 for education, and 24 for health were received. More than 750 calls covered general questions, requests for information about the service, and various other topics.

1,345 requests from adolescents aged 15-18 made up the majority of the applications. Of the remaining requests, 502 were related to children aged 11-14, and 326 were related to children under 10.

During this period, 78 families were invited to the center and provided with legal, psychological, and psychosocial support. In total, more than 300 socio-psychological rehabilitation cases were carried out. In addition, urgent visits were made to 73 schools and families in cases requiring urgent intervention.

During the reporting period, in order to raise awareness about the service's activities, employees of the "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service held awareness-raising events in three vocational schools, nine secondary schools and one Youth Center in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron.

Established in 2010, the "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service continues its activities with the support of "Azercell Telecom" LLC and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues, and under the management of the "Umidli Gələk" Social Initiatives Public Union.
