"Araz" supermarket chain, which is part of Veysaloglu Group of Companies, continues its projects in the field of nature protection and ecology. In this direction, "Card to Art" social-ecological project has been launched, organized by "Tamiz Shahar" OJSC, with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and "Araz" supermarket chain.
As part of the project, special collection boxes for expired plastic cards are being placed in Araz supermarket branches. The first box has already been installed at the Qutqashınlı Superstore branch.
The initiative aims to prevent discarded plastic cards from polluting the environment, to promote environmental awareness, and to bring together all parties involved in the use of plastic cards for a greener future.
Collected cards will be handed over to creative individuals, who will transform them into works of art. These artworks will be displayed at the “Card to Art” exhibition in the “From Waste to Art” Museum, established by Tamiz Shahar JSC at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
