An inclusive master class was held at Kashalata cafe to support people with autism

Azerbaijan’s "Future Leaders" project for young leaders organized a unique master class on art called "Vision Board" at the inclusive "Kashalata" cafe, where people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) work. This is the 12th event held within the framework of the project.

The organizers told that all proceeds from the event were directed to support the cafe and its employees, thereby drawing attention to the importance of social responsibility and equal opportunities.

"Kashalata" is a social project created on the principles of cooperation between business, state and society. "Future Leaders" was created to bring together young people in one place so that everyone can reveal their potential, recognize their strengths and be inspired to do good deeds. Over the years, the team has organized 12 events, including debates, seminars, charity events, thereby contributing to the development of young people and changing society for the better.

People with ASD often face obstacles in integrating into society. Inclusive projects like "Kashalata" and "Future Leaders" help to overcome these barriers, creating conditions for equality, respect and support.

In a creative and supportive environment, participants created personal vision boards symbolizing their dreams and goals. The master class was not only a creative event, but also an expression of faith in the power of community and the capabilities of each person.

Aysel Yadigarova, founder and president of the "Future Leaders" project, said: "When we started the project, I wanted our initiatives to be about not just leadership, but real values – kindness, respect and the ability to be beside. This is not just a cafe, here you feel the power and support of the community. It is incredibly inspiring to see participants reveal their potential through creativity. I sincerely believe that young people can change society with simple but sincere steps. If our "Vision Board Workshop" event gave someone self-confidence, then our work was not in vain. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Kashalata team, who warmly welcomed us and made the world a better place every day. When I saw how sincerely they welcomed us, I realized that this event will not be the last one we hold here! By paying attention to people with ASPD, we make the world a better place. I call on the youth of Azerbaijan to step forward, support those in need, help and be an active part of change."

The organizer of the "Future Leaders" platform, Maleyka Gayibova, emphasized that leadership is not only about leading, but also about serving society: "Together we are taking a step towards a more inclusive and compassionate future."

Leyla Ibrahimova, vice president of "Future Leaders", shared her impressions: "We were creating from the heart, and there is real magic in this. It was as if we were in a family environment, and kindness turned into real support for those in need."

Asma Huseynova, vice president of the platform, said: "We dreamed and created together, as if all the walls between us disappeared. I am proud that the project helped everyone believe in their ideas, feel support and kindness."

The head of the HR department, Ramila Askerova, also did not hide her emotions: "Everyone contributed a piece of themselves, and as a result, it was not just an event, but an event that reminded us of how important it is to be nearby and lend a helping hand. For me, the most valuable thing is to see good intentions turn into real steps."

The coordinator of the platform, Fatima Osmanova, concluded: "Kashalata is not just a place. It is a reminder of how young people with unique skills, sharing their light, turn ordinary moments into something truly human and inspiring."
