Absheron Hotel Group, part of PASHA Real Estate Group, is creating new career opportunities for young people in the hospitality sector
Absheron Hotel Group, part of PASHA Real Estate Group, conducts an intensive three-month training and internship program aimed at developing the hospitality skills and knowledge of young people from various regions of Azerbaijan—particularly those from low-income families—and supporting their integration into the labor market and society.
By combining theoretical knowledge with real-world work experience, the program offers participants the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into various aspects of the hospitality industry, enhance their professional and personal skills, and build a solid foundation for their future careers.
As part of the program, participants gain practical experience at 16 Absheron Hotel Group properties, becoming closely acquainted with various roles and operational processes within the hotel industry. During this time, they reinforce their theoretical knowledge through hands-on practice and develop essential professional skills—such as guest interaction, service standards, teamwork, ethical conduct, and etiquette—in a real-world work environment. Additionally, psychological support is provided to help the young participants adapt more easily to their new social and professional surroundings. The three-month program offers participants the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the operational principles of the hospitality sector, acquire experience across various areas, and develop a deeper understanding of the industry's professional environment.
To date, 114 young people from various regions of Azerbaijan have successfully completed the program, with 86% of the graduates securing employment. This outcome reflects the program's contribution not only to the development of young people's professional skills but also to their successful integration into the labor market.
A key priority of the program is supporting young women in building careers within the hospitality sector. What began as an initiative involving just two female participants has now grown to include 45 female graduates, making a tangible contribution to their integration into professional life.
Through this initiative, Absheron Hotel Group helps unlock the potential of young people, strengthens their readiness for the labor market, and fosters the development of new talent in the hospitality industry. The program’s core value lies not merely in imparting professional skills, but in creating new opportunities for young people, driving positive changes in their lives, and generating long-term value for society.
