A voluntary blood donation drive will be held

A voluntary blood donation campaign dedicated to September 27 – Remembrance Day – will be held under the slogan "A drop of blood, life for a thousand hopes".

Entrepreneurs, company employees, and members of the public are invited to voluntarily participate in the campaign, which will take place from September 23 to 25. The event is jointly organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the National Association of Businessmen Societies (İCMA), in partnership with the National Center of Hematology and Transfusiology, the Republican Blood Bank, "Marsol Group," and "Malham International Hospital."

The blood donation campaign will be held at the following locations:

- For the Lankaran-Astara economic region: September 23 in Lankaran (Address: Lankaran Branch of the Republican Blood Bank);

- For the Guba-Khachmaz economic region: September 24 in Guba (Address: Guba Branch of the Republican Blood Bank);

- For the Sheki-Zaqatala economic region: September 24 in Sheki (Address: Sheki Branch of the Republican Blood Bank);

- For Baku city: September 25 at the "Baku KOB evi," the Republican Blood Bank, and Malham International Hospital.

The blood collected during the campaign will be used to treat patients with hemophilia and thalassemia, as well as others in need of blood transfusions.

It is worth noting that last year, nearly 800 people supported this charitable initiative by donating blood during the drive held under the slogan "A drop of blood, life for a thousand hopes".
