A traditional Family Festival was held on the eve of International Family Day

The Family Festival traditionally held on the eve of the International Family Day was organized in the culture and recreation park named after "Nizami Ganjavi" in Khatai district.

The festival was jointly organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, Baku City Executive Authority and "Regional Development" Public Union under the slogan "Environmental thinking starts from the family".

The event was attended by families, official guests, intellectuals, members of the media, bloggers, and representatives of the embassies of the Turkish states in our country.

The opening ceremony of the event began with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Then the Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Affairs Bahar Muradova emphasized that the protection of our history, culture, national and moral values is an important issue. According to the chairman of the committee, the Family Festival, which is traditionally held every year, is also a celebration of national family values.

Expressing their gratitude for the invitation to the Family Festival, Elmin Imanov, head of the Department of Social-Political, Humanitarian Affairs and Religious Institutions of the Head Office of Baku City Executive Power, and Aytac Ajdarli, project coordinator of "Regional Development" Public Union, emphasized the importance of family values.

The event continued with the artistic part.

Within the framework of the festival, various master classes for children (carpet weaving, marbling art, pottery, as well as flower wreath, magnet, eco-bag making, work with clay, etc.), entertainment with the participation of animators were organized.

At the end of the festival, winners of the online photo contest "From life to picture" held by the State Committee were awarded.
