A new social enterprise has started operating in the village of Goylar within the framework of the "Support for the Social Development of Single Mothers II" project, implemented with the support of "PASHA Holding", the State Employment Agency, Shamakhi Region Executive Power, Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the "Social Integration of Boarding School Graduates" Youth Public Union.
Selected participants were involved in vocational training by the State Employment Agency and were provided with the necessary equipment for production with the support of "PASHA Holding".
The main goal of the social enterprise is to prevent single mothers from sending their children to state children's institutions, increase their social well-being and create sustainable employment opportunities. At the same time, the project provides an opportunity to strengthen the active participation of single mothers and low-income families in social life, plan and coordinate women's economic and social initiatives, as well as develop entrepreneurial activities.
It should be noted that within the framework of the "Support for the Social Development of Single Mothers I" project, the number of employees in social sewing enterprise operating in Shamakhi region has been increased from 10 to 18. As a continuation of the project, it is planned to provide employment to 20 people in the new enterprise established in Goylar village. The final goal is to provide permanent employment to up to 100 women in Shamakhi region alone.
